This guide explains how to correctly install your Stinger Lighting Lumix ST STL0425S-WL 100W LED Driving Light. Follow the steps carefully to ensure safe and optimal operation of your new Lumix ST driving light.
Preliminary Steps
- Read all instructions carefully and review diagrams before starting the installation.
- Check with state and local authorities regarding legal usage and proper mounting of auxiliary lamps.
- Disconnect the vehicle battery ground connection (marked "-") to prevent accidental short circuits.
- Route new wires alongside existing vehicle wiring. Tape wires as necessary to manage slack.
- If routing wires through the firewall, ensure they are kept clear of moving parts.
Mounting the Light
- Drill 10.5mm holes on the mounting surface for screw placement.
- Use the supplied bolt to fasten the lamp securely. Add the locking washer and tighten the bolt firmly.
Wiring Guide
Connect the wires as follows:

Switch Warning Light Mode
Synchronous Mode:
- Connect the Blue Synchronous line of 2 or more lights together.
- Then connect the Blue wire to the positive pole (+) for 3 seconds to reset the frequency of all lights.
- Once reset, all lights will operate in synchronised frequency mode.
Alternating Flash Mode (for 2 lights only):
- With power off, connect the Brown wire from one lighthead to +VDC and leave the other Brown wire unconnected.
- When the lights are powered on, their patterns will alternate.
Important Notes
- Operate the light only within the specified voltage range (DC 9-36V).
- The light becomes hot during continuous use. Do not remove or touch the casing for at least 30 minutes after turning the lamp off.
- Keep the heat-sink clean and exposed to maintain proper airflow and cooling.
Final Testing
- Reconnect the vehicle battery.
- Test all light modes, including:
- Driving Light
- Park Light (White and Amber)
- Warning Light
- Synchronisation or Alternating Flash (if used)
- Secure all wires and ensure they are clear of moving parts and heat sources.
