This guide explains how to install your Stinger Lighting ELIO STL0610S2 20-Inch 60W LED Light Bar and Stinger Lighting ELIO STL101052 13-Inch 60W LED Light Bar. Follow these steps carefully to ensure safe and optimal installation of your new ELIO LED light bars.
Preliminary Steps
- Read all instructions carefully and review diagrams before beginning installation.
- Check with state and local authorities regarding the legal use and proper mounting of auxiliary driving lamps.
- Disconnect the ground connection from the vehicle battery (marked "-") to prevent accidental short circuits during installation.
- Route new wires alongside existing vehicle wiring. Tape wires where necessary to secure slack.
- If running wires through the vehicle firewall, ensure they are kept clear of all moving parts.
Mounting the Lights
- Drill 8.5mm holes for screw placement on the surface where you want to mount the lights.
- Use the supplied bolt to fasten each lamp. Add the locking washer and tighten the bolt securely.
